Transitional Housing

A New Start for Families

"This was an opportunity to get back on my feet. You can be self-sufficient. It meant a lot to me. The deal that The Salvation Army offers you, you can’t beat. This is the spot to be if you want to do something with your life."

The Del Oro Division helps hundreds of families and individuals each year with transitioning from chaos, homelessness and desperation to stability and a focus on family.

In addition to the warmth and stability of furnished units, families take advantage of important social services programs, including daily counseling to help them find stable housing and employment. The complexes are also clean and sober environments, offering recovery and prevention services. The breadth of these programs truly transforms lives.
